Most robes are either a towel you wear, or a dressing gown you don't.

Thick terry robes take all day to dry and feel heavy by August. Thin ones look nice on a hook and do nothing after a shower.

Waffle weave sits in the middle. The deep cells soak up water, but the fabric is light and dries fast. We cut it long, gave it a shawl collar that stays flat and two pockets deep enough for a phone, and stopped there.

That's the whole shop: one robe, three colours, three sizes. The idea is a robe you reach for every morning — a kindly habit, if you like.
